Safe mode will disable any 3rd party apps and launchers that the school puts on there so you can fully test device without factory resetting the device. Can also be used to determine if software is causing an issue with the hardware and a factory reset will fix the issue.
To put memo pads in safe mode:
- Turn the device on and unlock the device (if you can not unlock the device "safe mode" will not work, it does not remove the passcode).
- Hold down the power button until it displays the power off menu then hold the "power off" option until it says the reboot to safe mode dialog.
- Tap the "OK" button and it will reboot device in safe mode
- To get out of safe mode you just reboot the device.
